Postpartum

About Postpartum Services

Pregnancy and birth affect our pelvic floor, abdominal wall, hips, and core. Some changes present immediately after birth and some can surface years or decades later. Pelvic health physical therapy can help release tight muscles and tissues, strengthen your core and pelvic floor, and decrease pain so you can exercise, socialize, and live comfortably and confidently. We start seeing postpartum patients as early as 6 weeks after birth and can still help 6 years or 6 decades later. It is never too late to get help.

Postpartum Conditions We Treat

NOLA Pelvic Health physical therapists provide expert care for a variety of postpartum related pelvic health conditions regardless of how long it has been since giving birth.
